How do I create my first checklist?

Go to the homepage or the Create page, describe what you want to collect, and use the AI generator to produce a starting checklist. You can then edit, reorder, or add items manually.

Do people need an account to respond?

No. When you share a checklist link, respondents can fill it out without creating an account. Their answers are stored in your workspace.

Can I reuse a checklist?

Yes. You can save any checklist as a template and use it again for future clients, cases, or projects. Templates can be kept private or shared publicly.

What happens to my imports and uploads?

When you import from a file or screenshot, ListBeam extracts the structure it needs to build a checklist. We do not present the original file back to respondents, only the structured items.

Is AI output always correct?

No. AI can be wrong or incomplete, especially for complex legal, tax, or immigration scenarios. Always review and adjust generated lists before relying on them.
